The East Texas War and Memory Project is an oral and public history project that collects, preserves, interprets, and makes accessible to the public the stories of people affected by war in order to uncover both the lived experience of war and the individual and public memory that surrounds it. In 2013, Texas A&M University-Commerce students began interviewing veterans and other individuals affected by war. The project completed conducting interviews in 2017.
