The Ag/IT building was completed in 1975, replacing the old Agriculture Building. It opened to students in the spring of 1976. The AG/IT building was connected to the Industrial Education and Technology Building. Renamed in 2003 after University President Charles J. Austin, this building still stands and is used for many of today's agriculture, engineering, and industrial classes. Charles J. Austin Engineering & Technology/Agricultural Sciences Building is located southwest of Velma K. Waters Library across from the Rayburn Student Center.
