There is no money too small and none too large to be idle at a time like this. A $25.00 E Bond costs $18.75 and pays back $25.00. A $50.00 E Bond costs $37.50 and pays back $50.00. A $100.00 E Bond costs $75.00 and pays back $100.00. A $500.00 E Bond costs $375.00 and pays back $500.00. A $1,000.00 E Bond costs $750.00 and pays back $1,000.00. If held to maturity.
