Abstract

Multiple qt-binomial coefficients, the n-dimensional analog of the classical binomial coefficients, is an active research topic in the field of combinatorics. This project investigates the combinatorial interpretation and properties of the qt-binomial coefficients in the two dimensional case. The result will be useful in not only the field of combinatorics but also number theory, statistics, computer science and other fields where the sequences of binomial coefficients or q- binomial coefficients are used.
