The Science Hall was a three-story brick building constructed shortly after East Dormitory was completed. The building featured two classrooms and a wide hallway on each floor. It was still in use when the state took control of the school, and like all of the buildings on campus, it required significant repairs. Each classroom was divided in two, doubling the effective classroom space. The Science Hall received a new roof and cosmetic repairs inside and out. The building was deemed unsafe by Dean Samuel Henry Whitley after it was damaged by a severe windstorm in 1922. All classes were immediately moved to Old Main and Industrial Hall. The building was eventually demolished in 1924. The Science Hall stood in the southeast corner of the present day sorority housing complex at the intersection of Greenville and Mayo Streets. Like Campbell Street, Greenville Street once continued through campus.
