Originally built in 1968 at a cost of $55,000, the President's Home served the university from 1968 to 2016. A $90,000 addition and renovation project occurred in 1972 during President McDowell's administration. It was renovated again in January 1998, during the last six months of President Morris' administration when the foundation began to crumble and dry rot was found throughout the house. The last series of renovations were funded through grants and local revenue, totaling $120,000. The President's Home is located south of campus along Highway 24/50. It is no longer occupied.
