The Alumni Center opened in 2009, occupying the former site of Dealey Hall. The building features two meeting spaces, offices, and a gallery of East Texas and A&M-Commerce memorabilia. The Alumni Center is a hub for university and community events. An Alumni Brick Garden connecting the Alumni Center to the Walking Mall was unveiled in 2016.
